ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT AND HUMAN RIGHTS SIERRA LEONE

 

The mission of the EEHRSL is to provide a comprehensive range of services that are accessible and safe to women and children by:

• Working in partnership with organisations that advocate ending violence against women and children

• Prioritizing awareness of women’s rights on issues such as HIV/AIDS, SRHR and gender-based violence

• Establish, through research, a best practice intervention model to end early child marriages/FGM/c, stigma and discrimination

• Promote research and advocacy on gender-based violence in order to influence policy makers and society in general.

• Working for justice and social change, challenging culture and changing mindset about women and girls

• Providing hope for women and communities in achieving food security as a drive to economic empowerment
